ten things tuesday

Since my Pennsylvania and Virginia sisters are visiting and my local sister also has the week off, the theme of this week is FAMILY FUN!

Here are ten questions about sisterhood: (h/t: Microsoft CoPilot)

1. What does sisterhood mean to you? it means that not only are we siblings, but we are also a small community with a tight bond

2. How do you support your sisters? by listening with an open mind and open heart; I rarely offer unsolicited advice

3. What’s your favorite memory with your sisters? is a candid photograph of the four of us, taken in a moment of laughter--every time I see the picture I can feel our laughing bond

4. How do you resolve conflicts with your sisters? head on by gently expressing "I messages"

5. What qualities do you admire in your sisters? their mothering: each has a unique approach yet all three have children I adore

6. How do you celebrate each other’s successes? I am very good at making a BIG DEAL out of success

7. What’s the best advice you’ve received from a sister? my Pennsylvania sister had me turn a challenging situation over to God/the universe by manifesting specifically what I wanted and I'll be darned if it didn't work

8. How do you stay connected with your sisters? I pester them with daily texts, I send memes, I frequently FaceTime

9. What traditions do you share with your sisters? we have so many that I made up a Bingo card

10. How has sisterhood impacted your life? I can honestly say that as I get older I genuinely cherish our shared experiences and our friendships

Lot of Autumn-type things on that Bingo card. I always wanted a sister.
