Three things:
1) Today it sunk in that my life is upside down and backward because of my broken foot. For the shock that brings me, I am not having surgery (knock wood).
2) My students were lovely. They missed me standing at the door and greeting them as they entered the room. And I missed it, too.
3) This season of Big Brother is the mildest I've seen in a decade. There are no major blowouts or annoying villains. Lots of strategic gameplay. I love it!

I can just imagine how that broken foot affects every aspect of your life ... and I bet that just when you're used to living like this, the book will come off!
