The iconic tale of Romeo & Juliette is reimagined from the perspective of their twenty-year-old spinster (gasp) daughter.  This retelling has a modern feel yet stays true to the historical context and mores of the time.  It's fresh and complex as it examines love, loss, and the societal expectations of women during the Renaissance.  Rosaline's voice is clear--she is a feminist ahead of her time.  I liked the wit and wisdom and the secondary characters.  I can't wait to read more!
