Reading: nothing yet--I get to pick a new book!

Listening to:  the hum of the fridge and blessed quiet

Loving: I got some new social studies-themed t-shirts and can't wait to wear them!

Thinking:  tomorrow we're having a school-wide evacuation drill, complete with buses to transport everyone to a safe location.  I talked to my students about being mature and not goofing off or being silly.  I mean, it's a serious drill to have to practice even if it seems like it will never happen to us.  I especially coached them because I am not taking part (due to my broken foot and walker and medical restrictions) and they need to know how to manage themselves with a substitute.

Feeling:  I'm very tired today

Grateful for:  accommodations so I don't have to struggle through the drill tomorrow

Enjoying:  the aroma of my crockpot meal cooking
