PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. I like to post one that speaks to me each week.
Reminds me of Anthony Rizzo talking about the shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, where he went to high school ... "When I first heard 'shooter,' I took my next golf swing," he admitted. "That's how numb our country is to it. My parents were one of the first homeowners in Parkland. I've seen that community grow into what it is now. It's crazy to see that happen at home."
Until it touches us, we really don't care because we're numb to it. But sooner or later, it will touch each one of us.
