Dancing in the Moonlight

1) The lyrics tell us the moon is big and bright. Do you often take the time to watch the sun set or look at the moon? I look at the moon--fortunately, I see a starry sky to go with it, there's little light pollution and I've even seen the Northern Lights

2) The lead singer of King Harvest, Dave "Doc" Robinson, tells us that everyone feels "warm and right." How would you describe your mood as you answer these 9 questions? I am chill--I did my laundry, returned recyclables, and did a market run and now I'm done most of my chores for the day

3) He sings that his friends don't bark or bite. What about you? Is your bark worse than your bite? I think so

4) He believes you be unhappy when you dance. Do you agree? oh no, I am always happy when I dance

5) King Harvest was not the only name the band used. They once performed as E. Rodney Jones and the Prairie Dogs. If you ever played in a band, tell us what it was called. If you haven't, make up a band name. I was in a band called Bingo Betty Loves Bingo Bob (and the RAs)

6) Even though this was a major hit, King Harvest's record label, Perception, went bankrupt in 1974. This decade has been hard on many businesses -- especially restaurants -- and many closed their doors due to covid. Tell us about a shop or restaurant that closed recently, and that you miss. oh, I miss my dear Cafe Sorpreso which was a bistro in my little town.  It didn't close because of Covid but because the landlord jacked up the rent (during Covid) and the owner decided not to pay that rent

7) This very upbeat song came from pain. While vacationing in St. Croix, songwriter Sherman Kelly was the victim of vicious gang attack and was left for dead. He wrote this song during his long recuperation and it helped him envision joy. Is there a song that reliably lifts your mood? (Yes, you can say this song. Mr. Kelly is right, it IS joyful!) now that I've embraced it, the song Pocket Full Of Sunshine makes me happy

8) In 1972, when this song topped the charts, Wrangler jeans were America's best-selling blue jeans. Do you often wear denim? I wear denim as often as possible--especially colored denim

9) Random question: Which of these is completely, 100% UNTRUE of you: Greedy, lazy, or jealous? I am not greedy

#6...Covid is indirectly responsible for closing the restaurant. Our local community theater, which was unable to perform for a year, had its rent raised TWICE during that year!

It's nice to have all the errands done and now be relaxing!

I would like to see the Northern Lights. They occasionally come this far down and I've seen a green wave, but it's not as spectacular as photos I've seen from further north.

Our school lets us wear jeans every day, but I feel weird about it, so I wear colored denim too.
I would love to see the Northern Lights, I am too far south. Loved your answers! Have a nice weekend.

Your answer to #1 brings out a pinch of the #9 jealousy in me. ;) We can't see too many stars here because of the light polution and the Northern Lights are on my bucket list.
