23. An accomplishment you're proud of.
I am very proud to serve on a state advisory committee of educators to navigate the implementation of LD 1664.
Specifically, the language of the bill states:
The bill requires the department to convene a volunteer advisory committee to collect information and prepare materials for teaching African American studies and Maine African American studies and to develop and provide guidance, best practices and exemplar modules to local school administrative units to integrate African American studies and Maine African American studies into their curriculum.

That is quite an accomplishment!! Being Canadian, I've not heard of it before either but admire what you're doing.
I chose the time I was in a full page spread of Chatelaine magazine, getting interviewed about my Diabetes.
