ten things tuesday

Ten things about today:

Two things that I am grateful for today:
1.  I put my needs first during the workshop day today.
2.  My students LOVED our activities in class.

Two things that made today great:
I finished morning duty until February.
4. I finished revising the AP Psychology textbook to reflect the new textbook.

Two things I did well today:
5.  I wrote a letter of recommendation for a student I don't know all that well.
6.  I didn't get snarky when working with my department.

Two things that I could have done better today:
7.  I could have gotten right out of bed instead of snoozing.
8.  I could have been more of a team player.  But I honored my burnt-out feeling (see #1)

Two things I will do to make the rest of the day great:
9.  Turning off my alarm clock for the rest of the week.
10. take a little nap.

I'm trying to dial back on the snark, too. It feels funny in the moment, but then ... not so much.
