1) What teacher are you most thankful for and why?  What did you learn from him or her? I got my love of travel from my 7th grade social studies teacher, Mr. Smith--when I was traveling in Belgium I sent him a postcard from the Atomium because all the information he taught me about it popped into my head and I wanted him to know he inspired me.

2) What’s the season you’re most thankful for, and what’s your favorite part of each season? I'm most thankful for autumn because it's glorious here in Northern Maine--the colors, the temperatures, the crispness in the air.  I'm thankful in summer for the flowers and the temperature changes when wandering in the woods.  I'm thankful for spring because it's warming up and the snow is melting.  My favorite part of winter is the snow at the holidays--it makes the lights look extra special.

I just started reading Louise Penny this year and I enjoy those books, too. But I am very far behind and my library doesn't seem to have all of the books available. Guess I should stick those on my Christmas list for Santa.

I agree - Autumn in Maine is beautiful (I was further south than that but close enough).

I need to revisit some time.
