Amen!! Separate, but unified. I am with you!

We are still seeing our daughter's family and my mom and stepdad but only because our three homes are all side by side and we may as well all live in the same house because we all rely on one another to care for the grandchildren and get certain things done. It drives me nuts at times, but I'm glad it means none of us are alone for Christmas. My heart aches for all who are.

I wish you, if not a joyful Christmas, then one filled with peace and hope!

It is such a hard year. We are just having my mom over. I skipped my husband's get together with his family because they have such a big family. It is a hard choice. Merry Christmas!

I can say with some authority that covid is not "just the flu." You are doing right, smart and loving, for yourself and your folks.
