I love that bookish quote because I've learned I have to be more mindful of what I choose to read. I just finished a big book about Jim Jones and Jonestown and while it was well researched and written, it gutted me emotionally. Until life begins resembling normal again, I must be more careful to select lighter fare.
And I know I can come to you for suggestions! This weekend, the Decades cable channel ran every episode of Get Smart and I thought of you and the Spellmans. I looooved that series.
