Thing one: It is another scorcher in Northern Maine--85 degrees! (Not a complaint, yet, but an excited observation)  

Thing two: This might be a TMI, but I think I finally solved my slipping bra strap problem. I tightened the hell out of them and voila! 

Thing three: My current read employs a literary device that I don't enjoy--character foreshadowing; making allusions to a great reveal by dropping in lines like, "because my parents disowned me and destroyed my confidence." I am not a fan. It's detracting my enjoyment of the book.
