...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 18 inches expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far
Northern, North Woods and Penobscot Valley Maine.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM EDT Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be extremely dangerous.
Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility
and cause localized hazardous travel. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning and evening commute. Power outages
are possible.

It hit 80ยบ earlier in the week. It was so hot I tested out the air conditioners. Today, I'm wearing slippers because my toes are so cold. There may be flurries tonight. That's just how it is at the beginning of baseball season. (And I'm still in denial about baseball.)

We're expecting flurries tonight, too, but I'd rather have those than the 75 mph winds we had the other night. That was a bit much! Stay inside and stay safe and warm.
