I Don't Care

1) This song begins with Ed Sheeran admitting he's not enjoying the party he's at. What's something you have to do this weekend, but don't want to do? I can't think of anything--anything I would to this weekend, I can do any day next week because I'm on school vacation

2) Justin Bieber sings about trying to have a conversation at a party. Have you seen any of your social gatherings canceled because of the Covid-19 pandemic? I've seen all of my social gatherings canceled

3) Both Ed and Justin conclude that this party -- and everything else -- is okay because they're with the ones they love. Who in your life always makes you feel comfortable and content? my bestie

4) Ed and Justin have both appeared on The Simpsons. Are you a Simpsons fan? I haven't watched in years, but I used to

5) Speaking of animation, Ed Sheeran has said that he'd love to do a Disney soundtrack, like Elton John's Lion King. Do you have a favorite Disney movie? Does Mary Poppins count?

6) Justin Bieber is fluent in French, and Ed says he knows enough to get by. Say something to us in French. Je suis en vacances!

7) Justin can solve a Rubik's Cube in less than two minutes. Are you good at puzzles? I'm decent at them

8) In 2019, the year this song was popular, 20 new governors took office. Tell us something about the governor of your state (or commonwealth)? The Governor of Maine has hired the most compassionate doctor for the CDC-- Dr. Nirav Shah--he is a true hero

9) Random question: Did you more recently give a compliment, or receive one? given

Mary Poppins was a fun movie. I liked the song Feed the Birds.

Of course Mary Poppins counts! Fun movie.

Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins, sublime. It's my absolute favorite live action Disney movie.

The original Mary Poppins or the new one? I've heard raves about the new one, but I haven't seen it yet. I'm also wondering who still watches the Simpsons since most of us seem to say we either never watched them or we used to, but haven't in years.

I recently saw the original Mary Poppins for the first time about a year or so ago. It was quite good.

Mary Poppins is really the only correct answer. (I'm meme mistress; I get to make these designations.)

Enjoy your vacation.

I went to school yesterday...they are only allowing us in 10 at a time. I was putting together at home learning packets for the kids that do not have internet (it is being offered by the school)...but still...after an hour, the power went out, so I went to the classroom. It was just sitting there ready for us to come back from Spring Break. I took down the bulletin board and other art in the hall. I was able to get the things off the walls in the classroom too before the power came back on. The worst thing was taking down the kids that are pre-k. They will not be back...we also have 3's that will return, but our pre-k kids will not. We went to Spring Break and never came back. We did not get to say good-bye. It is so sad. Loved your answers! Have a great weekend.
