It's vacation week! I'll struggle to not check school email or brainstorm activities for my students. But I sincerely need a break. I have my regular course load but I also am prepping students for the Advanced Placement Exams in Psychology and United States History. And I'm also mentoring a new teacher through the transition to Distance Learning. This is so, so very difficult to translate what I do in the classroom to online links and worksheets and book work and technology. I miss the discussion--exploring ideas and talking about thinking. I miss talking about books and history and random things.
