ten things tuesday

Ten things in no particular order:

1) I can't stop watching the Yule Log Crackling Fire Sheepdog Puppy video. I just love it.

2) I ordered cinnamon rolls from a bakery in the next town over (about 15 miles away) and when I went to pick them up, they weren't ready. But when I went back a couple of hours later, the baker felt so bad, she gave me extras and some cookies and other goodies.

3) I got to spend some time with my bestie, relaxing and enjoying the holiday without pressure on either of us. She wanted to check out the bakery so when the rolls weren't ready we came back to town and had breakfast and yakked.

4) I ordered some presents from online gift lists but don't remember which items are for which of my great-nephews. I don't think they'll mind. It's seriously fun!

5) I'm always amazed at how depression wallops me. I'm in a really good mood yet depression whispers guilt and feelings of inadequacy in my ear. I'm so glad I have the awareness to know that it's the lies of depression. And that I have the tools to conquer it without slipping into a serious funk.

6) The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day--if you don't mind the wind.

7) I should have gotten a gift for the UPS man who has my route. He and the postman are true Santas!

8) I'm almost finished with gift bagging and wrapping. It's a record!

9) I might even have time to finish my Christmas book! It will make 73 books this year. Wouldn't it be awesome if I could squeeze in two more before the end of the year??

10)
