  1. What is your favorite Christmas scent?
  2. there's a Yankee candle called Home For The Holidays that I enjoy
  3. What is your favorite holiday season tradition?
  4. I put on flannel pajamas and climb in my car on Christmas Eve to drive around looking at the lights
  5. How was Christmas celebrated at your house when you were 10 (if at all)?
  6. we could open stockings at any time but we had to wait until Dad got up and going before we could start opening gifts (he had to play for the midnight mass and needed to sleep in)
  7. What percentage of your Christmas shopping is done the seven days before Christmas Day?
  8. I try to have 80% done by then
  9. What is your favorite holiday movie?
  10. I have so many! Elf has a special place in my heart because of the memory of going to see it with one of my classes; the whole class gathered at the movie theater (some younger siblings in tow) and it was truly magical
  11. What was the most unusual gift you ever received?
  12. I can't think of anything unusual
  13. Do you have any traditions around New Year's Eve or New Year's Day?
  14. I always watch When Harry Met Sally
  15. When did you have the best New Year's Eve?
  16. the turn of the century was memorable, including karaoke and adult beverages

  20. my sisters and their families living in Pennsylvania and Virginia

We finally did that stocking thing with our kids in order to get a little extra sleep because they were getting up at 5:00-5:30.
