And now it's time for Christmas. My spirit is ready. Tonight was my dad's annual Christmas concert and it never ceases to put me in the holiday spirit. Am I done shopping? Am I done wrapping? Am I done doing whatever else needs doing? No, no, and again no. But my heart is so full of love and spirit that nothing else matters.

And the star topper on Dad's tree was one he bought last summer and asked me to put together for him. When I opened the box and struggled with it for twenty minutes, I knew I could take it to school and have some of my students put it together. I was right!
