Dental pain is a nightmare. I'll wait until November 19th before I can get a crown. Almost a month. Holy moly it's tender after being poked and prodded.
Ugh. Tooth pain is the one kind of pain I really can't handle. I hope you feel better before the 19th. Have you tried gargling with Listerine? Sometimes the antibiotic properties in it will help. Also, a little clover oil on a Q-tip held to the painful area will numb it for a while. It tastes awful, but it does work.

Stacy's right. There are OTC things you can use. And there's always Advil. Hang in there.
