I'm jealous that you can wear thongs. I love the slap/slap sound. But they irritate the skin between my toes.
Burning is not a good way to go, but generally people don't burn in fires, they die of smoke inhalation. Then they burn, but they're already dead so they don't know it. I lost my uncle, aunt, and cousin to a fire back in February. My aunt was on the phone with 911 until . . . she wasn't. It was the smoke and fumes from all the crap we have in our houses that took them, not the fire.
Sorry, way more info than you wanted. Married to a firefighter, remember.
