I clicked the link to Victoria Mansion. That staircase is so romantic. Can't you just imagine the floor length skirts and lemon verbena sachets?

We're supposed to get winter weather next weekend. Joy. And if you come anywhere near Roanoke you'd better let me know! I would love to meet you. I used to give the tours in Fincastle, 20 years ago. I suppose I remember some of that . . .

Boy,you all are jumping head-first into winter this year! You are right...you need to move south. At least PA is not as frozen as Maine.
