I'm reading The Poacher's Son.
From Chapter 56:
The inn's restaurant was an expansive, low-ceilinged space with pillars scattered among the heavy oak tables and captain's chairs. The wide, pine floorboards needed a new coat of varnish. Framed black and white photos of the inn's employees from post-war days to the present hung on the walls along with amaturish paintings of loons and moose.

I am not familiar with this author or the novel, although it sounds good! I do enjoy a good crime fiction novel, and throw in a little family drama and it's even more intriguing. I hope you enjoy this one! Have a great weekend!
