april challenge day 5

Today's fantasy prompt: A place you would live but have never visited.

I could see myself living in a small cottage in Scotland. Or in the countryside of France. Or Italy--I've never been to Italy. Why this prompted me to think of a foreign country is beyond me, perhaps I've seen Under The Tuscan Sun too many times.

Edited to add: I would live on the outskirts of Memphis--I think the winters are tame and I don't remember it being in the way of hurricanes or tornadoes. I would try Portland, Oregon, or someplace in Washington state. Or Chicago, it's on my bucket list.

I love Under the Tuscan Sun and that is one place I'd like to visit. I just can't say I want to live anywhere without visiting first.

Come here! Maybe the winters are tough (I don't think they're anything but I do hear a lot of bitching) but you don't have to drive. There's always plenty to do indoors. If you want to take a road trip, Southern Illinois has the Lincoln sites in Springfield, Northern Illinois has Grant's home in Galena. Really, I don't know why people live anywhere but here.

I would happily move to Denmark, or Sweden, or Norway.
