Three things that made my day:

1) Large iced coffee from Dunkin. I didn't sleep much last night and I'm feeling punch drunk, so a large coffee was necessary.

2) My students responded well to my lessons--they were active and engaged. That's quite remarkable for this time of year. My most challenging class performed the task activity better than any class I've ever had. We had a fantastic class discussion and it set a foundation for future class discussions. They were respectful.

3) My stop at the supermarket on the way home from school--I will not have to run a lot of errands this weekend!
