I have about given up on knitting. I find it stressful, not relaxing. I think it is my perfectionism kicking in and causing me to worry more about whether I'm doing it right than just letting it flow.
When the kids were little and all their cousins, it was so much fun to wrap presents.
And, right now, I'm not finding my knitting very relaxing. Glad you are, though.

Knitting -- I just read that Katharine Hepburn also knit to relax, but only "English." I didn't know there was more than one kind of knitting so I'm not sure what that means, but I thought I'd share.
