Dear Bestie,

You're not one to accept praise. You're not seeking acknowledgment or admiration. However, you need to know how much your many years of friendship mean to me. When I am at my lowest point, you give me perspective. When I am beyond frustrated with family, work, or life, you help me find my patience. When I need a book to read, you give me suggestions. And you're my favorite New Year's Eve tradition.

Right now, you're going through a shitstorm. I want you to know how much I care, how much I want to help. I want to be the friend to you that you are to me. You're my bonus sister.
