I'm especially encouraged at school to try new techniques of teaching as well as new technology. I'm encouraged by my students' changing interests and my desire to hook them into my content.
I encourage others by being interested and learning about them. Then, once I know something, I can engage and encourage them. I know that's my reputation at school. :-)

Is it hard to read a class of kids? Do you and your student teacher compare notes about how to tell when students are "hooked?"
