open

My theme word for the year is OPEN. And I've mentioned that to me, that means being open to the possibilities--being open in my eyes, my heart, and my mind. It's going well. I've stepped out of my comfort zone and I'm nervous as hell to be out of the zone, but I'm taking a few chances and so far they're paying off. Professionally, being open has helped me kick a few things into higher gear and shake some cobwebs away. Spiritually, I'm opening up to the bigger world around me. I've even read out of my usual genre!
