• Question: Outside of books, what’s your favorite thing to read? Newspapers? Magazines? Blogs? Fanfiction? Specific websites?” {source}
Outside of books, I find myself reading a lot of different online sources. Many blogs, many informational sites, and many newspapers--especially sources that aren't readily available in print form here, where I live. I subscribe to three magazines in print and two digital magazines, so I'm always reading something or other. I forget to account for my non-book reading when I think about my reading. I don't know why, it certainly is reading!
I also forget to calculate how much reading I do professionally. As a teacher there is always something!

This reminds me of my teaching days when a student would inform me "I don't read"--and then I'd observe him/her totally engaged with a teen magazine--or a videogame manual--or the sports page. I think we do need to remind ourselves--and our kids!-- that reading comes in so many forms--not just physical books!
Since I aquired my Nook Color I rarely ever pick up a book to read. I do still read magazines however. My ex DIL sends hers to me when she is through with them
I think any reading counts but I don't mention many magazines on my blog. As it happens I do feature two online magazines on my blog this week. Here is my post: Mixed Book Bag
I have a few magazines I read each month, but never count them on my reading blogs. I only post about the books I read.
I can imagine how much reading you do as a teacher :)
