holidailies 18

Today's prompt: Baby, it's cold outside (at least in the Northern Hemisphere)! Do you prefer your holidays to be white, or would you rather spend them basking in the sun?

It's been unusually cold here in the Great White North, with temperatures below zero. That does nothing to help my holiday spirit--which I believe is buried under the snowbank. In all seriousness, though, I don't think I would like a warm climate Christmas. I love how the lights twinkle in the snow. And I admit, I do like some frosty touches in the air as I drive around looking at the Christmas lights and the luminaries that line the streets.

But I've never had a warm, green Christmas. Maybe I'd adapt!

It is too cold! We also have had below zero at night and during the day it only made it into the low twenties or the high teens. But by Sunday it is supposed to be in the upper 50s. Go figure.

I can tolerate 8 - 10 weeks of winter, after that I start getting cabin fever.

It's nice to have snow this close to Christmas. It'd be nicer if it snowed everywhere but on the roads and sidewalks.

I totally agree. I don't think I could handle below zero weather though.
