I've read 54 books so far this year and it's going to be tough to come up with a favorite of the year--there have been so many truly great books! I've got a couple of really good books going right now.
Inferno by Dan Brown is another Robert Langdon mystery-thriller. What moves this story is that Langdon is suffering from temporary amnesia. I am just about half-way through the book. Can't wait to see how this unfolds. Another thing I enjoy about Brown's books are the implausibility.
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein is historical fiction set during WWII. I just started Part Two and the narration has changed from one character to another. I didn't realize it's considered Young Adult lit. I'm listening to it as I knit.

I find I can really enjoy young adult reading, must have cleared my second childhood and heading back to young adult.
