Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying about it.
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

I've got a couple of books going this week that are vastly different: The Heist by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg is a great summer read--a bit of adventure, the threat of violence, exotic locations, and a hint of romance. I'm enjoying listening to it and can't wait for more of the series (at least, I suspect it's going to be a series). I'm also reading Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel and I don't think I like it. It got rave reviews and I've already picked up the sequel so I am determined to read it. It seems like the stage is being set for some major happening or event but the build up is taking too long. Let's move along! What's keeping me going is the atmospheric writing.

I gave up on Evanovich long ago. but if this is something new, I might ave to check it out.
The Evanovish writes so very good mystery. This is one I have not read. Here is my muse: MM
I agree with the others. Evanovich would be a great choice, in my opinion. I have always told my friends, If it's from Janet Evanovich, it must be good! I'm a big fan of her.
