day 13

Join the June Challenge--this is today's prompt:

Somewhere you'd like to move or visit.

I would want to live in Ireland. I loved being there when I was in college. In 1987 the economy was terrible and my friends were bleak about their futures. Since then, the economy has turned around and now they're on the cutting edge of technology. It would be fun to go back during prosperous times. Economy aside, I enjoyed traveling around and visiting all the towns and villages. The people were so friendly. It felt like home. I loved being there. I will go back.

Another answer to this question is that I would like to settle half-way between my Pennsylvania and Virginia sisters. They're about five hours apart and it would be awesome to be the middle point. And winters wouldn't be as brutal, although the summers are hotter. So, I'll have to weigh the options carefully. But it would be cool.

I don't think I would ever be able to live in another country. But a visit to Ireland sounds wonderful!

You could move to Ireland, and then I can come visit you! haha I also want to live in the region you are talking about. Who knows, we could end up neighbors.

My best friend Christie is a huge fan of all things Irish. Here is a link to the scrapbook I made for her to host her photos and places for her to journal.
