Day 29, Wednesday: Five songs or pieces of music that speak to you or bring back memories. Use Grooveshark or YouTube to include them in the post
1. Say. This song struck me at the end of The Bucket List.
2. One. My all-time favorite song. This version featuring Mary J. Blige is phenomenal.
3. Train in Vain. Quintessential 80s punk/rock.
4. Variations on Canon in D. I was playing some soft music in class and my students love this the most.
5. Never Gonna Give You Up. One of my favorite memories of Ireland is dancing at a club to this song, singing at the top of my lungs, with Dermot Curry--the tall redheaded Irishman. We had so much fun that night. It adds special delight to get RickRolled!

I remember dancing around in my living room to Never Gonna Give You Up. It's irresistible!
I loved listening to all of them. But my favorite of your five was "One". Beautiful
Frank Turner's "redemption" and Bruce Springsteen's "brilliant disguise" - they get me every time.
I love me some Rick. You can't help but get up and dance to this song!! I also love love love Variations on Canon in D. My daughter playing the cello has opened up my love for classical pieces. Fun list!
I *love* One, and U2 in general. I used to work for this surgeon who would always play the Joshua Tree in the OR while he was operating. It set the perfect tone, and I loved working with him because of it.
