1: Who is your favorite Musical Artist from when you were a teenager? U2 has been my favorite band since 1983 and before that, I was obsessed with The Police--in fact, I'm going to see Sting in concert in June!

2: Who is your favorite game show host? Gene Rayburn

3: Who is your Favorite Blog hosting service? Blogger

4: If you could meet anyone again from your childhood, who would it be? my childhood best friend Lisa M, we reconnected through Facebo*k but I'd love to see her in person

5: Where did you want to live when you were growing up? I don't know

6: What is the most interesting piece of Trivia that you know? if you crunch a dry wintergreen lifesaver in the dark you can see little green sparks, due to triboluminescence

7: If you could live in any point of history when would it be and why? I recently had this conversation with my students and I would not go back in time

8: What is the most interesting job you have ever had? this one

9. Please share one middle school memory. It can be good, bad, ugly, funny. Pictures or words, I don't care, just share. when I got off a tour bus in Brussles, Belgium, I took one look at the Atomium and a flood of information came back to me from when I was in middle school. I purchased a post card and mailed it to my 7th grade social studies teacher telling him about it.

10. What's your favorite Beatles song? I don't have just one, there are too many!

11. If I asked you to describe your most comfortable outfit, what would it be? well, all of my outfits are comfortable--I've worked hard at building a nice wardrobe

12. Would you rather host a party or be a guest? guest

13. Do you think we will move completely from traditional books to digital ones, and if we do, are you OK with that? I don't know if we'll ever move completely--but I do love digital books

14. Do you learn best by reading, listening or experiencing? I like to read it, see it, and do it

15. If you are (or when you were) single, what is the kiss of death for you concerning the opposite sex? (That is, what is one trait or behavior or habit or anything at all that immediately turns you off from considering that person a potential match for you?) substance abuse
