I recently bought a couple of books for friends because the first week of January is Buy A Friend A Book Week!
And I bought myself a couple of books that were recommended on three different Best of 2012 lists: The Twelve Tribes of Hattie and The Light of Amsterdam. But it will be awhile until I finish reading my current reads before I get to them.

I had no idea the first week of January was Buy a Friend a Book week. Well, I'll know for next year!
