musing mondays

This week’s musing — courtesy of http://drpepperdiva.wordpress.com – asks…

• Have you ever reread a book and found that your opinion changed?

The books I can remember reading more than once were books that I loved more on the second reading. Especially Pillars Of The Earth and Light A Penny Candle.

I never re-read. I just don't have the time for it.

Hi! Thanks for the visit to my blog!

Not a fan of The Pillars Of The Earth.

LOVED Pillars of the Earth, but never re-read. I read "East of Eden" in high school and read it fr the plot. When I read it as an adult, I fell in love with Steinbeck's descriptive style and the plot was almost an intrusion. I have read the book several times, including once simultaneously with "Journal of a Novel," which is his collection of letters to his publisher which he wrote while he was writing the book. Fascinating.
