8/10: My book group met for breakfast and it is just amazing that I get to share my love of reading with friends. And the people in the group are so diverse--we all bring something different to the conversation. One of the more vocal members of the group really didn't like it and she sort of stifled the member that chose the book. The more we talked about it, though, the more she found things that were interesting and she softened her dislike for the book. I'm really excited to select our slate of books for the coming reading season!
