• What is the longest book you have ever read? How long did it take you to read it?
The longest that comes to mind is Stephen King's The Stand, clocking in at 1472 pages. I don't remember how long it took to read because it was during a summer vacation about 30 years ago. I remember being confused by parts of it but not being able to put it down.

Maybe why I never read his books.
I think that books read long ago (for me) were read in between other activities, and it's only since book blogging that I've noticed how long a book takes to read.

I read a lot of Stephen King as a teenager, but I think the size of The Stand really put me off! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier.

1472 pages! Carrying that book around could give you a hernia! No wonder you were so happy to adapt to your Nook.
We mentioned the same book, mine is a newer print of the extended and has a few less pages that yours! Sneaky. I adored it so much.
