everybody panic!

So, I'm kind of in panic mode. I know I probably shouldn't be. I found out at the end of the school day that I am slated to teach six classes--and four of them will be brand new content. I'm overwhelmed at the thought of it. Especially where one of the classes is an Advanced Placement. So that makes two AP classes I'll be teaching, two different contents.

I just keep repeating "Don't panic" to myself but I'm still kind of in panic mode.

I know that telling myself not to worry is fruitless, so I'm guessing you'll have just about as much success trying not to panic.

I know little about your profession but I know you have been doing it - well - for a good long time. While you may not have been HERE before (your panic button reminds me of one of those "You are HERE" buttons on a mall map), you have been in a situation similar and acquitted yourself well. Remember that.

*gasp* I'm a school psychologist and as of last count I have 15 cases to evaluate in the 39 days of school we have left for the year. I'm ready to jump right now!

I feel your pain - no panic, just be a duck. Cool and calm on the surface, frenetic paddling under the surface.

I'll touch base with you in June - we'll start summer yoga together to recoup! :D

Happy Reading luv!
