1. Last night I actually watched the ball drop.
2. I have high hopes for this year.
3. The funniest thing was said at dinner last night.
4. And...so where do we go from here?
5. He said something funny; she said a witty repartee.
6. Joy is out there and it's up to us to find it.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hanging around, tomorrow my plans include probably shoveling out from the big storm and Sunday, I want to get ready for school!

I just missed the ball dropping. I was reading and I heard the neighbor shooting off fireworks, and I rushed to the TV but it was 12:01 :-(
