Give Me Five end-of-summer wrap up thoughts.
1) Road trips. I didn't take as many meandering drives around the County as I did last year. But the trip to Vermont counts. And soon I'm headed even farther.
2) Finish de-cluttering. Didn't happen, although I made a great dent in the living room project.
3) Trip time! I'm making plans to visit my sisters in PA and VA over my three-week Harvest Break from school. It's the perfect time to travel: the weather is usually glorious and the kids are back at school.
4) Reading. I'm back in the groove of reading a lot. It's tough when school's in to keep up with the reading, but I'm determined to try.
5) Summer music. I didn't have any new discoveries of summer-time music this year. No summer anthem. Disappointing.

So, Kwizgiver, do you have some book recommendations?
I'm really into Georgette Heyer just now, as well as reading about the San Juan Islands where we go sailing. I'm reading a fascinating book The Light on the Island: Tales of a Lighthouse Keeper's Family in the San Juan Islands by Helene Glidden.
Sorry the music wasn't what you wanted. Have fun on the trips though!
I love road trips...I didn't have any...only trips that needed to be done. With the gas prices...I just can't get in the car and go!
I have read & listen to many audio books..I always have an audio book in the car.
I wanted to take a road trip too but never did. I posted my five. =0)
