Went to see Twilight the movie this weekend and I absolutely loved it. It is very close to the book in both plot and feel. The acting was... well, it's a teen-driven flick so let's leave it at that. I expected it to be more music-driven but the music is very much in the background, so it's not one long music video. The special effects are nifty.
What made me feel old is when I said the boy playing Edward wasn't what I would consider hot enough, my friend told me that to a fourteen year old girl he is plenty hot. Yeah, that's probably true.

I've heard/read several teenagers say he isn't nearly hot enough either.
