just another manic monday...

What is the biggest transition you've had to make in your life? there are so many... in retrospect, the biggest transition was my mother's death when I was six. It was not well understood by my friends at school, set me apart, and there were limited social services for children (in this neck of the woods) at that time... so, that is probably the longest-lasting transition.
If you had to be famous for something, what would you choose? if we're talking world-famous, I'd like to be known for contributions like Mother Theresa's. Easing suffering, aiding peace. If it's local, I'd like to be known for my life example--causes I love, efforts I lead, that kind of thing.
What surprises you most about your life so far? truthfully, that I'm still alive. I never thought I would out-live my mother. When I was a kid, I didn't think I'd live to be 18. Then it was 21. Then it was 30. Then it was 38. And having a near-death experience a year ago... well, I'm surprised I'm still here.

I cannot imagine losing my mother at such a young age. I am very blessed to still have her in my life at 37!

Life is so full of twists and turns, isn't it?

Thank you for playing and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Losing a parent at any age is difficult, but when you're a child even harder to comprehend. It sounds like you've had struggles that you've been successful at overcoming. Have a great week!
