all good things must come to an end

It's the end of the world as I've come to know it. And I don't feel fine. Well, that's not exactly true. I do feel fine, I feel great, I'm more relaxed than I think I've ever been in my whole life--I know it's got to end. And this is it--the bitter end.

Tomorrow is the rah-rah day filled with inspiration and motivation and then it's Freshman Orientation. This year I'll have some things to do because I have a Freshman homeroom--and I'll be busy having paperwork signed and all that stuff.

So, how did I get ready today for tomorrow? I didn't! I made a list of things I need to do and I need to get my room ready, but I didn't do anything at all. I noodled around online and watched TV and watched movies on TV and hung out in my pajamas until around 4 in the afternoon. Then I knew I HAD to get the stink blown off so i cleaned up and went for a ride. It's a gorgeous day but I blew it. And... I'm glad.

I really want to start the year on the right foot--that it's not filled with a laundry list of complaints and worries. Focus on the fun. Focus. FOCUS!!!

Ok, time for more pajamas, feet up and freakalicious TV (including the Pick-up Artist on VH1).

;-)

What if this is as good as it gets?

It can be hard to focus.

Isn't it a shame we have to make a conscious effort to focus on the positive?
