Thing one: I had a particularly good day at school. I felt "on" and like I was connecting with the kids.
Thing two: There was a two-hour delayed start because of a significant snowstorm. And as I was digging out and brushing off my car, a neighbor helped me. He was very efficient and kind.
Thing three: I've got an eye treatment tomorrow, so I took the day off from school. I'm kind of excited to get some Christmas errands and my laundry done before the weekend.
