Caius pulled the car up in front of the Hesperides Gallery.  It was on one of those quaint little streets that tourists walk along and think is terribly charming whereas proper Londoners just think it's terrible.  The shop across the road sold antique chandeliers for the price of a terraced house in Liverpool, and another sold moth-eaten taxidermy specimens of nearly extinct predators - a snarling wolf graced their window - and a third sold exorbitant room scents, although it tried to look like an alien pharmacy.

I love that tourists love it, but residents think "it's terrible." I know that feeling!
