Goodbye 2023

1. What did you do this year that you had not done before?  I guess I did a lot of things!  But the hot air balloon ride is at the top of the list.

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions/goals for the year and will you make/set more for next year?  What are they? What are your new ones? I set an intention based on the word of the year I chose, which was Venture.  And I did.

3. Did anyone you know give birth? Or get pregnant? yes to both

4. Did anyone you know die? Or have a serious illness? yes to both

5. What places did you visit? I went to Tampa in June, Blacksburg in July, Augusta also in July, and some incidental trips in August, September, November, and I went to Gardens Aglow in December

6. What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year (doesn't have to be a physical thing)?  keeping up with the decluttered environment

7. What date from this year will remain etched in your memory and why? October 3--it was the retirement party for my dad that my sisters and I hosted at the library's art gallery and it was a GREAT day.

8. What was your biggest achievement this year? decluttering with the help of my sisters

9. Did you get sick or injured? Anyone you know? nothing serious for me

10. What was the best thing you bought? plane tickets

11. Where did most of your disposable income go (money leftover after you pay for food, transportation and shelter)? stuff I don't need

12. What song will always remind you of this year? either Flowers by Miley Cyrus or Fast Car by Luke Bryan

13. What do you wish you would have done more of? knitting

14. What do you wish you would have done less of? wasting time

15. What was your favorite new TV program? Movie? Album/Songs? Or if you didn't pick up any new ones, what are you still watching/listening to? I binge-watched Shrinking on AppleTV, and I went to a couple of movies that I enjoyed--especially Barbie, uhm... I'm drawing a blank on music

I retired in 2019. A GREAT decision on my part!
