Rocky Road to Dublin
Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here.
1) This song is about a young man who leaves home to seek his fortune. How old were you when you first moved out on your own? I was 21, living in Ireland
2) He leaps onto a ship but the captain makes him sleep in the hold with pigs. Have you ever taken a cruise? (If so, we hope you had better accommodations.) I've taken an overnight booze cruise

3) This recording of the song is by The High Kings. Well established in Ireland, their career reached new heights in March 2012. Right after playing for the Lord Mayor of London's St. Patrick's Day celebration, they flew to Washington to perform for President Obama at the White House St. Patrick's Day concert. Tell us about a time when you were so happy, you had to pinch yourself to make sure you weren't dreaming. that's a very good question--I don't remember
4) This song was chosen because Friday was St. Patrick's Day. Do you celebrate this holiday? I do, indeed--living in Ireland is one of the greatest times of my life!
5) Leprechauns are a symbol of St. Patrick's Day. These small Irish fairies are said to live in the forest, guarding their gold. Do you often wear gold? I have several accessories that are god--so, I'll say yes
6) McDonald's has made Shamrock Shakes a St. Patrick's Day tradition. McDonald's began adding the drive-thru window to their restaurants in the 1970s. Would you rather order from the restaurant counter or the drive-thru? for fast-food I would definitely prefer the drive-thru
7) A four-leaf clover is considered good luck. Do you have a lucky charm? not per se, however, I do have a 4 leaf clover tattoo
8) Thinking of Lucky Charms, they are magically delicious. What breakfast cereal is in your kitchen right now? I do not have cereal right now--I need to get groceries
9) Random question: Think of your upcoming week. Which day will be the busiest? Wednesday is when I report for voir dire for jury duty

#2 There is a river cruise on the Connecticut that is a “Booze Cruise”
#9 Have fun! I have been called four or five times and served on one jury for a civil case. I don’t know if I would want to be on a criminal case.
Wow! Ireland was a huge first venture out on your own. I bet it was an absolutely amazing experience.
A woman I work with has to report for jury duty next week. She is fairly sure it's going to be for the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting that happened in Pittsburgh a few years ago. I've always wanted to serve, but have never had the chance.
Good luck with the jury duty. I would love to see Ireland.
That is so cool that Ireland was your first time living away from home. I knew you lived there, just not that it was your first time living away from home. I hope jury duty goes well. Loved your answers! Have a nice weekend.

I didn't think Ireland really celebrated St. Patrick's Day.
I have a plumeria tattoo on my ankle. I got it in Hawaii. I am going back in the fall. I would like to get another one, but I have less meat on me now.
DH and I both have relatives who were from Ireland. It would be fabulous to be able to actually stay there. I bet you did love it. It calls to me, still.
I've never had to serve on a jury but have been called in for one a few times. Then I opted out earlier than most with a note from my doctor.
