* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up
to 4 inches for a storm total of 9 to 17 inches, sleet
accumulations up to one tenth of an inch and ice accumulations
around one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of Central Highlands, Far Eastern, Far Northern,
and North Woods Maine
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make
travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on
slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Thursday evening commute.
